Cut the zucchini (1/person) in half lengthwise and scrape out the "meat" with a spoon. Saute with 1 minced garlic clove and ~100 grams (3.5 ounces) of ham cut into small cubes for about 5 minutes. If there is a lot of liquid, remove some. Mix the sauted zucchini, garlic and ham with ~200 grams of cottage cheese and some fresh (or dry) thyme.
Put the halved zucchini on an oven-safe dish and cook in 250 C/ 480 F for about 5 minutes. Remove from the oven, fill them with the ham/ cheese mixture, sprinkle generously with breadcrumbs, and cook for another 20 minutes, or until the top starts to brown.
