Time travel shrimp


I was aiming for the summer classic* "toast Skagen", but with the ingredients I had available it turned into something quite different but very tasty. Chopped shrimp, shallot, and red roe ("oeufs de lompe") and some sour cream or yogurt to bind it together. The only thing I has was saffron infused yogurt left over from the lentil soup the other night (check out that recipe under "soup"), and it was delicious with the mixture. Summer taste of shrimp and roe with the Christmas* hint of saffron: time travel in a bite.
